A lightweight battle between Beneil Dariush and Drakkar Klose has been rejected from the forthcoming UFC Fight Night card in Sacramento on Saturday night.
UFC authorities reported the news on Tuesday.
"Because of damage endured by Beneil Dariush, his lightweight session with Drakkar Klose on this current Saturday's UFC Sacramento card has been dropped," UFC authorities wrote in an announcement.
"The card, which show live on ESPN+ and is featured by the session between Germaine de Randamie and Aspen Ladd, will continue at planned with 12 sessions."
There's no word on the damage endured by Dariush or to what extent he'll be out of activity.
Dariush is right now riding a two-battle win streak including an accommodation triumph over Drew Dober in his last excursion.
Concerning Klose, he is on a comparable two-battle win streak with his last win coming in December 2018.
